MDT's detachable box magazines are designed to fit the MDT chassis systems, as well as many other M24 type chassis and bottom metal. Manufactured from high-quality Polymer and uses a tempered steel spring.

Max OAL .223: 2.550"

Compatible Chassis:

All MDT Chassis systems
Based on customer feedback, the following systems work well with MDT mags but fitting may be required in some cases:

XLR Chassis
KRG X-Ray - some adjustment needed
GRS Riflestocks configured for AICS magazines
CDI Precision bottom metal
Pacific Tool and Gauge bottom metal configured for AICS magazines

300 Blackout was designed to feed on AR-15 magazines and may or may not feed from an AICS magazine in your bolt action rifle.
Will work for the Magpul Hunter stock for Remington 700 with Detachable magazine. Minor adjustment of magazine height may be required.
Will NOT work with: Ruger American in 204/223/556/300AAC, Browning X-bolt, Winchester XPC and may require fitting in Winchester Model 70.

These mags work great in a AICS chassis. Excellent product.

Advantages: They work

Disadvantages: The ridge on the back of the mag partially block the mag release lever. Five minutes with a file fixes it.

I bought this magazine on MDTs website for my remington .223 Magpul Hunter 700 in hopes it would fit in the magazine well, since the magpul hunter 700 magazine add-on came with a 7.62 magazine and Magpul doesn't make a .223 magazine for the hunter 700 I was in a little bit of a worry thinking there wasn't a magazine available for my gun. I bought this MDT .223 mag to see if it would fit in the magazine-well and all I can say that it fits perfectly. The dimensions of this magazine are spot on with the magazine Magpul gives you with the add-on. So if you wan't to buy the magpul hunter 700 short action stock and the Magpul Bolt Action Magazine-Well along with MDTs .223 magazine for your .223 remington 700, go for it you wont regret it especially if you are ordering it from here on tactical works.

I have a Remington 700 SD in 300 Blackout. A really fun gun to shoot. I looked around everywhere for a magazine that would work with 300 Blackout bolt action. In the past I had bought 2 other magazines that didn't work or was not reliable.

Advantages: The great thing about this magazine is it works in both of my Remington 700 223 in a MDT LSXL stock and the 300 blackout in Magpul Hunter stock. Works in both mag wells. Most affordable bolt gun magazine I could find.

Disadvantages: None at this time
