The Element 3.0 Chassis by XLR Industries is the ultimate culmination of function, flexibility, and price. Whether your needs call for a hunting, target, or precision rifle competition, the Element 3.0 covers all your bases. The all-aluminum construction allows utmost strength and design simplicity, with a starting weight of 22 ounces for the chassis. The universal nature of this chassis allows the user to configure the chassis setup to over 8 pounds if desired.

A popular choice for those looking for a chassis system that can be configured for target shooting, hunting, or competition.

The receiver block and forend are one piece allowing the utmost strength and simplicity.  The forend is M-LOK to accept any M-LOK attachments on the sides or bottom of the chassis.  Cooling vents provide uniform cooling for the barrel during long strings of fire.  A multi-point radial cut inlet allows the receiver to sit in the chassis stress free for absolute accuracy (no V-block).  The integrated detachable magazine system allows the use of AICS style detachable magazines. The T-2 Buttstock features a length of pull range from 12.5-15 inches and an adjustable cheek rest with a dual recoil plate system to allow more recoil pad height adjustment and adds recoil pad cant capability.

This Element 3.0 Chassis for the Remington 700 Short Action is the complete chassis with the TR-2 buttstock and ERGO grip factory installed.

Features:

  • Machined from solid 6061 T-6 billet aluminum
  • Multi-point radial cut inlet eliminates the need for traditional V-Block or Glass Bedding
  • M-LOK compatible forend
  • Ambidextrous design with universal bolt slot plug
  • Integrated detachable box magazine system (magazines sold separately)
  • Utilizes AICS pattern magazines
  • Compatible with factory and aftermarket trigger systems
  • Weight starts at 22 oz, varies slightly based on the inlet (not including buttstock or grip)
  • Interior forend weights and buttstock weight available
  • Also available is the XLR push button folder

I was on the fence between a chassis or traditional stock. I decided on a chassis and went with the XLR Element. Awesome quality and fast shipping from Tactical Works! I'll be recommending this place to all my shooting buddies and will be coming back soon.

Advantages: Solid build. Easy install. Magpul AI and AICS had no issues. Fed and dropped free with no problems.

Disadvantages: A bit on the heavy side compared to most chassis but not a deal breaker.

VERY WELL BUILT INSTALL TOOK 10 MINUTES - ADJUSTMENTS ARE SIMPLE AND EASY. TRIED THREE DIFFERENT CHASSIS BEFORE - THIS IS IT! MDT MAGAZINE WORKS - NO NEED TO BUY THE OVERPRICED AICS.

I have not had a chance to test extensively but so far it is great. It is light but very solid in appearance and feel. It bolted easily to my Remington 700 and amazingly, it shot to point of aim with no adjustments. I would not expect that in every case. The length of pull and comb were easily adjusted. I am very pleased to this point.
