QD Direct Mount Adapter by XLR Industries

Excellent fit, tight. Works exactly as needed.

Advantages: I often shoot from a loop sling (longtime HP and Smallbore shooter) and this lets me detach the sling from the rifle, leaving it looped on my arm when moving to a bipod supported position.

TWI is apparently the only seller of this item other than the manufacturer. Same price but a better freight charge. It fit perfectly.

Advantages: The finish was spot on and the install was simple.

Disadvantages: It's proprietary to XLR and nothing else will work in its place.

I was actually contacted by a Tactical Works rep to verify the adapter was actually what I needed. Attention to detail is always important in this industry. Thanks for going above and beyond. I actually came to this site because XLR did not have any stock in their own product. Thanks TW!

Advantages: This product is small but fits perfect. You can tell that it's not going to fail and the tolerances are very spot on.

Disadvantages: Only disadvantage I see is in the chassis itself. The element chassis comes with a stock QD connection but nothing on the handguard area. Had the chassis had a QD mount in the front, I wouldn't have needed this. But having it makes the world of difference.

The product is of highest quality. Customer service is great.
