The quality will not disappoint. Some very very light sanding to get the BDM to slip into place was done with 300 grit paper by hand. Attached the Receiver and torqued down the Torx screws. Was ringing the gong at 600 yds a few minutes later.

A drop-in fit for my Remington 700 SPS ACC action. Alignment is perfect! Nice spacing in the barrel channel. No noticable deflection and NO barrel contact, unlike the flimsy stock it came with.

Set it up as "budget M40A3". Awesome rifle at about 1/3 the cost of the full-tilt issued model and plenty good enough for me!!!

Using Wyatt's bottom metal piece. This required the tiniest amount of sanding of the composite at the front of the magwell and to increase the length for the rear mounting screw tab. Only removed a few thousandths of an inch of composite in both places and it fit like a glove. No metal modification required on the stock whatsoever. Torqued the mounting screws to 50 inch-pounds with a drop of blue LocTite and everything is rock-solid.

A VERY satisfied customer.

Received my stock today and had it installed in 20minutes. No real fitting to do, but lots of flashing at the overmolded areas to trim up. Nice product but you'd think they would pay better attention to the details.

I purchased the Tactical Operations Ammo Cheek Pad for a new Remington 700™ SPS™ Tactical AAC®-SD™. This product is well designed and appears to be very well constructed of durable materials. As a previous reviewer stated, I also I placed a piece of foam underneath the pad to raise my eye perfectly in line with my scope. The result was a very comfortable cheek weld and perfect sight alignment. The soft velour-type fabric is easy on the face and the felt-ammo loops and zippered pouch are practical additions. Ordering was simple and delivery was speedy. Had an optionally insertable foam insert been included with this product, it would be perfect for any rifle! I just ordered a Tac Ops ammo cheek pad - right hand. It took two days to receive from order! I am very happy with the looks, fit and quality. If you're wondering, it fits a TC Encore thumbhole stock no problem....even room for foam to raise cheek weld!

Disadvantages: Pocket is a bit small for DOPE cards, but they fit between stock and pad.

great piece of gear ...especially if you need a higher cheek weld..your face will thank you if you shoot heavy recoiling rifles. be careful thru the thickets though because the cartridges can be ripped from the ammo loops easily in brush.

Advantages: raises cheek weld (add foam too!), holds ammunition and tools , make cheek weld comfy, carries small items in side pockets..

Disadvantages: cartridges can be removed from open ammo loops easily...
would be nice if it came with some foam to raise the cheek weld...but not a deal breaker

Item as described! The process of changing the bolt from the original was very simple. The new bolt handle works great!

Advantages: Straps are long for large stocks. You can remove sling without removing cheek pad. Suede is soft. Elastic bullet holders are tight and hold rounds secure. Pocket is big enough to put turret caps inside to reduce risk of losing them. Plenty of space in the pocket, yet not bulky.

The trigger guard really is a nice feature to add to the rifle .

Advantages: Sure makes loading easier ,especially on that type of sniper type rifle.

Disadvantages: Now ,don't get me wrong, I like it and will not return it .. It's a good product ,but I really think it should have been made out of a heavy aluminum or metal , instead of plastic.

The very simplest way to upgrade the bolt chamber complex is to change the geometry of the bolt handle; the bolt handle must have enough mass to it that it expedites the cycling of the bolt sufficiently quickly to feed a round onto the ramp and not break the rifleman's natural point of aim or target eye scope relief [TE/SR[ hn he is feeding from the magazine or single round. This bolt handle allows just for that; it is heavy enough that with simple snapping action of the wrist this can be achieved without ever taking the eye from the rear optic with a very silky smooth quickness that is effortless. The handle is easily installed even if the instructions are not followed particularly well. I have a heavy 1-1/2" oak dowel rod at my bench to depress the guide way bolt button on the Savage 110bolt and reset the firing pin spring. Ten minutes should do in the entire procedure. This "DOES NOT" take a gunsmith; any competent Rifleman who knows his weapon should be able to accomplish with a minimum of trouble. Great stock for my LR308 build. All the convenient features of a Magpul PRS at half the price.

Nice piece of kit. Haven't had a chance to shoot this season so I can't comment on function. Appears to be solidly made and honestly, it was the low profile aesthetic that sold it for me.

Purchased to replace my stock T3 bolt for my Tikka build. The fit was a perfect tight fit. Quality machining with a great carbon fiber tactical knob. Can't be more pleased! Tactical Works customer service is awesome! I have their website in my favorites as a go-to for my builds!
