This neat little device turns the Howa 1500 bolt into a tactical bolt with no alterations and only takes minutes to install.

Outstanding bolt knob. I can now cycle the bolt of my Howa 1500 7mm Rem Mag with no problems while wearing gloves. My hand clears my large 34mm scope tube. Huge difference with this knob.

This is a great grip with what is available on the market today. I have been searching for something like this for awhile now and just didn't wanted to invest into other grips and spend the money before settling in with this one. Tactical works is awesome.

Advantages: Fit and feel are very good, wide thumb rest and 3 other replaceable ones is good addition. Very natural forward grip although probably will take some getting use to.

Disadvantages: Do your research, there aren't any.

Very easy to assemble, took less than 15 minutes from start to finish.

Advantages: Works with MDT metal 5 round, 10 round MDT poly/metal, and 3 round MDT polymer. Thats all I had to try.

Disadvantages: Don’t cut much off spring. Cutting three coils gave me perfect tension. If you cut too much then magazine will wiggle.

Would not purchase. I purchased this for my savage axis rifle that was only extracting about half of the rounds I shot. The install was simple but the new extractor would not extract any of the rounds I shot. The ejector was good for about 100 rounds and then it got stuck down in the hole. After removing the keeper pin I had to pull out the ejector with pliers and found it was bent. So as far as I can tell I these are very cheap parts. Go with original at least they work half the time for half the money.

i got the parts to fix the extractor for my Savage Axis installed into the bolt as soon as they arrived. Unfortunately the made my problem worse. The shells won't even leave the bolt. The person I talked to said they have seen problems with Savage bolt tolerances, and the would send new parts as soon as they were ready. We will see. Still waiting

Purchased new Savage scout 110 308 - very nice , except did not come with the bolt handle the sales images show ? Savage could not help !! So the after market bolt handel is perfict !! Feels better , works better !!

Knob was easy to install, fit snugly on my Howa 1500 mini in 6.5 Grendel. Easily clears the bell on my Vortex 3-9 x 40mm scope, but makes for a modified technique to work the bolt vs. no scope.

Advantages: Much more ergonomic to use than just the weird factory knob, feels better in the hand, fits with my scope.

Disadvantages: Howa Mini's bolt throw does make it end up close to scope tube on my 3-9 x 40 Vortex, very large scopes might not work.

A solid bench-rest stock with an excellent aluminum foundation for the Howa 1500 SA barreled action. I have an unfired 6mm Creedmoor that came with a competitor's over-molded stock. The forend was so spongy I set it aside and used adjustable laminate stocks from a Norwegian company for several other Howa barreled actions. I decided to try a Choate and am happy with the quality. Still need to break in the barrel and add some spacers, but I like the solid feel of the stock. The Anshutz rail and side sling mounts are great features, too.

Advantages: A great platform for long-range and varmint shooting. Anshutz rail makes bipod positioning and takedown easy. Solid aluminum receiver mounts for consistent accuracy.

Disadvantages: Maybe too heavy for field carry, if weight is an issue. Spacers are a must if you need a LOP of more than 13+ inches.
