Fit and functions perfectly!!!!

Pad size was perfect but the Velcro tabs were not correct spacing. Just had to do some trimming on it and now it fits fine.
This is on the B&C tac/comp stock

Advantages: Just more comfortable for the face

My transaction went with Tactical Works went through without a hitch.

The stock came in perfect condition and was packaged very well.


Advantages: The new stock seems to be made out of more more rigid materiel. The stock fit the action very well and the AI mags went in and out without a hitch and there was no need to adjust their placement.
I installed a small MagPul M-lock rail section on the left side of the forend.
At first I was afraid my Harris bipod would hit but it fit on with out and proplems.

Disadvantages: The only glitch was tightening the upper machine screw to about 40 in/lbs.. There was not room to get my torque wrench on without removing the scope. No big deal because the base and rings were quality and my zero had not moved at all.
If you are setting on the fence thinking to get one or not, I will tell you this: GET ONE! you will not be sorry.

Like the monopod

Advantages: Quick elevation adjustment

Disadvantages: The base should come to a point so it doesn't move the gun when you adjust and the threads should be course so it is faster to adjust

I am quite pleased with the monopod. It installed very easily and supports the buttstock as well as could be expected. The price is also very reasonable.

Advantages: Made to fit the stock (not a "universal" unit and no mods needed). retracts inside stock when not required. Again, price VERY reasonable.

Disadvantages: So far, none.

i was having nothing but problems with my new savage 110 "varmint" rifle electing brass. i saw this little package on-line and thought i'd give it a try.... it works better than great... solved the ejection problem right away. if savage was smart, they would work out a deal with "tactical works" and have them mfg these for all their rifles from now on....

Advantages: fairly easy to install with the correct tools... will make your savage rifle much more enjoyable to shoot.

my savage 110 "varmint" rifle came with a fairly large bolt handle, but i wanted something with a little more beef to it. this bolt handle from "tactical works" is perfect for my shooting needs.... plus it looks extremely cool

This is the 3rd Tactical Works Carbon Fiber bolt knob. Very well made, extremely lightweight, and great cost.

Advantages: Lightweight

Just received this part in the mail and installed it ten minutes later. Very simple. The larger knob allows for better & faster purchase and increased ability to operate the rifle in a hurry. Since I am using my modified Howa .30-06 as a bear defense rifle, this knob is a great addition.

I bought two of these knobs for my Howa's and I love them. Makes the knob much larger on the bolt and adds some length to the bolt.

Advantages: Makes the bolt longer and the knob larger. Makes for much easier operation of the bolt.

Disadvantages: Only thing I could say that would be negative is the screw holes could use a little more clean up to knock off the square edges. Even with that I will order again for my next Howa!

Fantastic upgrade to my Savage BA 10 Stealth 6.5. That slightly longer and heavier feel, made for smoother and confident bolt action.

Advantages: Very, very easy install, durable grip

Disadvantages: If you have a foam insert in your rifle case, you may need to adjust to accommodate the extra length of the new bolt handle.

Great Highly Recommended Product I put this in my 12FV that I had installed a PTG bolt head on and was having issues. No more. Works like it is supposed to. Better than it ever did in its original configuration. Even if you are not having problems, I would use these. If and when I get another Savage it will get 1 of these. Very, very enjoyable shopping experience. These guys are great.

Best level on the market. Easy to see from any position. I have taken several long range shooting courses and everyone recommends a level. This is the one.

Advantages: Fits scopes well. Easy to use and see. Fit flush doesn't snap when carrying your rifle.

Disadvantages: Cost. Time to install correctly.

The Choate cheek piece seems to be a well made product. Fits their stock very well, and is constructed of the same polymer material. Allows me to get a good sight picture with my scope.

Advantages: Good sight picture, well made.

Disadvantages: None that i' aware of.

Last year I put a Choate Tactical stock on my Savage 110F in .308 which immediately tightened groups. I hit a 2.5" 5-shot group in at 715 yards. So when I got a Remington 700 SPS in .223, getting another Choate was a no-brainer. I'm hitting .5 MOA or better at 100 yards consistently. The build on these stocks cuts no corners. Aluminum pillar beds with FULL aluminum rails from action to the end of the forend. All one piece. They also have an excellent palm-swell and handle angle allowing for a good trigger-pull. These stocks are not for hunting as they are heavy, but as a person who enjoys shooting from a bench, weight is no issue. I added stainless steel BB's to completely fill the butt end of the stock to add even more mass. The .223's feel like .22's and the .308's feel like .223's. I've never had a McMillan, but for less than $200 it's hard to go wrong.

Advantages: Stiffness, huge barrel float, palm-swell, heavy weight, fit and finish. Precision-oriented stock.

Disadvantages: Not for a hunting rig.

Love this little pad!

Advantages: Comfortable, easy to install, quick to remove if needed, and not big and bulky. Great addition to the MPA Chassis.

Disadvantages: Could use a tiny bit more padding.

Had been looking for a LH Cheek Pad/Riser for quite some time in a color other than black. Had all but given up on finding one and then just happened to stumble across this one here. Fit my Stockade Woodchuck stock perfectly, and with a 3/8" thick piece of foam under it on the comb I finally have perfect eye alignment with my scope.

Advantages: Easy to install and adjust

Nice quality stock with the best price around. Also got it with free shipping during a sale which is awesome. Tactical Works was really helpful and let me pay with 3 different cards since I had two rebate rewards cards. I did a recoil lug and tang bedding using Marine Tex since there was a little room forward to back, which is normal. Overall an excellent stock and value when compared to some of the others out there and I would definitely buy again. If you're building a bench gun and want the features that count without selling a kidney, this is the way to go. Best bang for your buck on Howa 1500, hands down.

Advantages: Fully aluminum bedding block and plenty of space to free float my heavy barrel Howa 1500 308. Nice and solid construction. The heavy weight in this case is good since it's a bench gun.

Disadvantages: The sling swivel studs sat in the stock loose so they were easy to spin, but so loose that they rattled and made noise. I unscrewed them, and added an A011 o-ring (5/16"x7/16"x1/16") between the aluminum and the stud and that fixed it.

Stock is much heavier than the original one. As the rifle is a .30-06, and it used to kick the crap out of my shoulder, I am hoping that this stock will help with the recoil.

Advantages: Weight, versatility with the rail underneath the forearm, length of pull adjustment.

Disadvantages: Weight. Don't plan on carrying this through the woods hunting.
