I found out after receiving it, it was for ar15... buffer to long for ar10.. maybe I didnt see where it said specifically for ar15. Once I replaced buffer and spring it worked great in creedmore build

Works as advertised. I changed just the extractor by itself and no real change. The real difference seems to be the ejector. It's squared off on the top, longer, and protrudes much higher than OEM. The replacement spring is longer and provides more oomph. Brass easly slings out where before it kinda just fell out.

Advantages: Works like the factory should have done in the first place.

Disadvantages: Easy to have parts spring out across the room...be careful!

I found the Carbon Fiber 1" Bolt Knob to be smaller than expected and a bit undersized for my Remington 700 Tactical AAC-SD rifle. Additionally, it did not really speed up bolt cycling times or provide overall better grip.

After installing and cycling the bolt several times, I removed it and reinstalled my after-market oversized bolt knob. A 1-1/2" or 2" round bolt knob would be preferable.

Advantages: The lightness and overall quality of this item is good.

Disadvantages: Bolt Knob is a bit undersized for my Remington 700 Tactical AAC-SD rifle. Additionally, it did not really speed up bolt cycling times or provide overall better grip, probably as a result of the smaller than expected size.

Wanted a good bench/target style stock for my Savage 10-FCP SR. Finally took the plunge on this Choate and was very pleased! It works just fine with the factory Savage bottom metal and detachable magazine. Hard to beat any of the other options for this price! Added a Triad Tactical Stock pack to give proper comb height. Very Happy with the setup!

I bought this stock to replace a Blackhawk stock that came with the 223 caliper howa.The original stock was a bit to flexible shooting in the prone position. The new choate stock did the trick. My group was reduced to about 2 inches at 350 yards with a 55 grain pointed soft point and 24.5 grains of 2015 accurate.

Advantages: added accuracy and a stable shooting position. I also replaced the trigger, I now have a relatively cheap rifle that shoots a cheap reload well at 350 yards.

Disadvantages: none its all good.

Cool little item. Keeps two rounds at the ready for whenever you might need them. I'm going to be honest though; it's the "Looks Cool" factor that brought me to the purchase of the Hoptic 2-Round Quiver!

I really like this pad. It's a custom tailored fit for the Gen. 2 stocks. I guess you could still use it for the Gen. 3 if you're not too concerned about the edges matching up perfectly. I previously purchased 2 of these (same brand) from Tactical Works for different style stocks. They have wrap around straps. this one comes with a super sticky velcro mat that you center up on the stock, then simply press on the pad! I've had no problems whatsoever with it staying in place. Adds about 3/16 " of rise.

Advantages: soft, comfortable in winter & summer, well made, nice looking.

The Choate Tactical Mono Pod Is a great addition to the stock for long range shooting. It is a very easy install and comes with new screws. Simple and effective.

Actually works. I've been shooting my rifle for years without reliable ejection, and just thought it was something I had to live with. Installed this kit and everything functions the way it was intended. Great product worth every penny!

This is a great product. It's held up thru the riggers of the field.

Great product. Reasonably priced for the type of Caliber. Affordable. I have not had one problem with these magazines since I purchased my Savage BA Stealth on Black Friday of 2016.

Very nice quality, fit is perfect. Not as difficult as it sound to install. I would most defiantly buy again.

The bolt handle feels durable, is not much heavier than the OEM version, and provides a much more efficient chambering experience. I found no interference with my optics either. If you're looking for something that feels much better when chambering, this is the piece you need.

Advantages: -more surface area to grab to chamber rounds
-looks much better than the OEM bolt handle
-texture gives you a sure grip

Disadvantages: -slightly heavier than OEM handle

This is a great asset. Makes those long shifts when you are behind the gun for hours at a time more comfortable.

Advantages: Long hours laying on gun more comfortable. Helps with keeping same cheek weld. Keeps stock temperature neutral in extreme temperature.

Disadvantages: There is no disadvantage to this product.

Absolutely the best available and I use them on all of my precision rifles.

Advantages: In particular, the material that is used on the cheek side, only one available since Eagle stopped using the same type years ago.
