Recieved the new extractor kit and thus far has an improvement over the factory savage parts. Savage should change up what should be a simple upgrade and fix...very pleased.

I have a 90's 112 solid bottom single shot I rebarreled to 6mmbr norma and this stock is a perfect compliment to this build.

Advantages: aluminum bedding, target style stock with full Anschutz style rail, adjustable lop., weight for bench shooting and proper length action screws & trigger guard included.

Disadvantages: n/a

I think it a great product, as a professional shooter, it is something that I have always created for myself, but to have a standardized card is better, especially for the price.

The internal weights made by MTD for the ACC Chassis are remarkably easy to install. These weights have added stability to my rifle. I have struggled with capturing the recital wobble while shooting off of barricades. This has allowed me to achieve hits off the top of the barricades that I never could before. I would recommend these weights for anyone that owns an ACC. Tactical Works is a great source, shipping was fast.

I bought two of these bolt handles. One for my sons rifle and one for mine. They give us a better purchase on the bolt handle as well as better leverage while operating the bolt.

Advantages: It helps in manipulating the bolt.

Disadvantages: The bolt handle sticks out farther than original handle and is harder to store in my gun safe.

Received the OS bolt handle & installed. It looks great.

Advantages: Gives much more leverage when cycling the action. Much smoother.

This fits my Ruger American Predator nearly perfect. Has a slight gap near the top but isn't noticeable unless up close. Makes cycling the bolt much easier. Shipped fast, ordered Wednesday and had it Friday.

Nicely finished but slightly out of spec screw holes. A few runs with a jewelers file corrected the issue.

Advantages: Able to use medium rings with a 50mm objective vortex scope. Works well on savage receiver.

Bought this stock through Tactical Works last year to replace a truly horrific factory stock. When I received it the action dropped right in. Not only did it look great it improved the groups dramatically. Keep an eye on the bipod mount since it tends to want to get lost.

Advantages: Easy drop in fit and improved groups. Solid stock.

Disadvantages: Finish was a little rough but easily taken care of with some light sanding and using a heat gun.

GRS stock is a perfect compliment to shooters that prefer no pistol grip stocks. Very comfortable and stylish stock that gives perfect accuracy standard expected from Tikka quality. I really enjoy shooting with this stock.

I had a Savage 110 Storm LH in 6.5 Creedmoor only a few months old with less than 100 rounds down the barrel. In testing commercial ammo, I began to experience ejection problems with some brands being worse than others. Ejection with all was weak. This gun had the new Savage extractor style with one corner milled off and a ejector with an angled face. After studying the problem I figured it was most likely the extractor because unfired rounds ejected just fine. It just wouldn't hold the fired casing long enough to be ejected as the bolt moved rearward. I replaced only the extractor and ball with the Tactical works units. Completely solved the problem. Extraction and ejection is robust. Put around 50 rounds downrange since with zero failures. Fired cases will now eject more than 3 feet if I don't catch them.

Although I decided to keep the original Savage ejector, I did experiment with removing it. On the lefty bolt, insertion of the retainer pin is on the opposite side of the ejector. The pin must be almost fully inserted to reach the cutout in the ejector. The only way I could get it done was to use a pin very slightly smaller than 1/16 that could be inserted without force to hold the ejector in place while the factory pin was tapped in from the other side with a punch and hammer.

Advantages: Robust, reliable extraction

Disadvantages: You have to buy the entire kit although you may only need just one part. I would be good to include a new ejector retaining pin which is slightly longer than the Savage original, especially useful for lefty bolts.

Received both and immediately placed one on the butt stock of a Savage 110. However, forward velcro strap too long. I will have to cut and resew with shorter strap in order to secure.

Advantages: Like the suede-like material for the cheek and elastic loops for the cartridges.

Disadvantages: Front Velcro strap too long and must be cut and shortened by me!
