The BT28 AFAR Kit is ready to install.  The uniquely dimensioned nuts will fit into the rails and slots one direction or rotated 90 degrees to another dimension. We suggest using some Loctite such as 243 when installing.
 
The BT28 AFAR Kit is American made from 6061-T6 Aluminum with a Milspec Type III hard coat black with 4041 Alloy steel fasteners.

great item got it for my choate stock fits snug no movement when tight or loose it up a little and move were needed

Excellent product for the Choate stock of my Savage 110. Fits snuggly in the rail but be carefull because it can slip off when the screws are not properly tightened. It reminds me of my Anschutz target rifle that has a similar rail system.

Nice quality - feel sturdy - heavy weight but barrel lined up a little off center - more space on right side than left - minimal but noticeable - should not affect accuracy as scope is aligned on receiver - will see after it goees to range
