Remington 700 SA Tactical Stock Inletted for Magpul Hunter Magazine Well by Choate

Best stock for the money. I did research for several months before finally purchasing a new stock for my R700, and I kept coming back to this stock.

Advantages: Rock solid, it's a beast of a rifle when stock is installed.
Barrel channel is big enough for any barrel and still free float.
Love the magpul drop mag.

Disadvantages: Weight, with scope, bi-pod, sling, and mag attached; my rifle comes in a little over 16 pounds.

Have a Remington sps 308 win couldn’t get more than a 4 moa consistent group with 155 Sierra match Kings all the way to 175 Nosler rdf projectiles in the factory stock ordered this as a price friendly alternative to a plinking/hunting rifle and now with the same handloads running a .5”-1” group at 100 yards

Advantages: Aluminum bedding block Makes world of a difference + the ability to run mags

Disadvantages: A little on the heavy side but I don’t really see this as a disadvantage as I am a heavy statured gentleman and the weight helps mitigate recoil as well

Great stock, very strong and the magpul bottom fit right in.

Advantages: No flex at all

Disadvantages: It’s heavy but your not hiking all day with this
