Savage LA "Staggered Feed" (Old Style) Tactical Stock by Choate

The Choate Tactical Stock, for my Savage 110 worked great! I had no problems, dropped the action right in and the large barrel channel gives me plenty of free float for the heavy Shilen barrel I installed….I’d definitely purchase again!

This Stock is solid although the point of aim shifted approx .6 mil after installation.
I discovered that the magazine contacted the stock in the rear of the mag well, I could feel the action rocking in the stock.
After relieving the mag well, torquing the action screws per instructions and firing two fouler rounds the rifle placed the next four rounds in a single hole at 100 yards.

Outstanding quality and service! Fast delivery with follow up emails including install instructions and tracking. The stock is better than expected and has finally turned my 110 Tactical into the rifle it always wanted to be. Fits the heavy bull barrel nicely with a tight yet floating fit. A little tweaking was needed on the fixed magazine to allow it to drop in and allow the bolt to move freely. I would consider this minor and expected more fit issues but alas it was a drop in fit. Tactical Works customer service is stellar! Thank you!
