The Tactical Lite Element Chassis by XLR Industries is a lightweight yet affordable option machined from solid 6061 T6 aluminum.  The receiver block and forend is one piece allowing the utmost strength and simplicity.  The forend is M-LOK to accept any M-LOK attachments on the sides or bottom of the chassis.  Cooling vents provide uniform cooling for the barrel during long strings of fire.  A multi-point radial cut inlet allows the receiver to sit in the chassis stress free for absolute accuracy (no V-block).  The integrated detachable magazine system allows the use of AICS style detachable magazines.

This Tactical Lite Element Chassis for the Savage Short Action is the complete chassis with the Tactical Lite buttstock and ERGO grip factory installed . The Tactical Lite buttstock features QD flush cups on both left and right sides, ambidextrous cheek rest, and mono-pod provision.

Fits Savage Short Action Center Feed or Stagger Feed with Side/Top Bolt Release.

Features:

  • Machined from solid 6061 T-6 billet aluminum
  • Multi-point radial cut inlet eliminates the need for traditional V-Block or Glass Bedding
  • M-LOK compatible forend
  • Integrated detachable box magazine system (magazines sold separately)
  • Utilizes AICS pattern magazines
  • Compatible with factory and aftermarket trigger systesm
  • Weight starts at 31 oz, varies slightly based on inlet (not including buttstock or grip)
  • Also available is the XLR push button folder.

**.223 Rem requires bolt stop modification

**Note: The Magpul PRS and similar stocks with molded in anti-rotation dowels require modification to be used on the XLR Chassis system

Bought this for my Savage 10 with accustock a week after buying one for my Rem700. Again, best customer service and shipping from Tactical Works!!!

Advantages: Outstanding quality and easy install. No need to inlet like traditional stocks. AICS and Magpul AI mags drop free and feeds perfect.

Disadvantages: Feels heavier than accustock.

Perfect fit. Very stiff and excellent workmanship. Supper comfortable to shoot and sub moa performance from my 12BVSS. I would definitely not hessite with this chassis.

Advantages: Comfortable, adaptable platform. Very solid and ridged. Foregrip is flat works well with rest or Bipod. Drop the action in, tighten the bolts, adjust the stock and go shooting.. It's that simple. Tactical works customer service is exemplary!

Disadvantages: None with the chassis. Would recommend the metal magazine as the poly one needed some filling to fit and does not feed as smooth as I would like.

I am pretty new to long range shooting and was looking for a good chassis system This one for the money is great. It is light weight so I can add stuff to it without getting too heavy. Love the quality and useability. I have it on my new 6.5 Creedmoor savage. What a beautiful bit of craftsmanship.

Advantages: Lightweight and can add anything you need to it. The barrel is open to the top but they make a piece to add if you want to add a night vision device.

Disadvantages: Haven't run into any yet.
