Love it or hate it. This stock has many mixed reviews. The Ultimate Sniper is a little on the heavy side (6 lbs.) making it better suited for bench shooting or any shooting where weight is not an issue.

This stock fits the Winchester 70 short action with action screw spacing 7.031" blind magazine. Does not fit Pre-1964 Winchester action or Winchester Super Short Magnum action.

The stock is as described. Well built and solid. Fits perfectly on my 300 WSM.

Advantages: Great for bench rest shooting

Disadvantages: The grip is enormous and the stock itself is very heavy. Not a good hunting stock which is what I wanted.

Tactical Works was the best to work with. They communicate well and follow through with what they say they're going to do. I highly recommend Tactical Works!

Advantages: Very strong, excellent fit, EXTREMELY accurate!

Disadvantages: A bit heavy, but not for a long range shooter.

Tactical Works is awesome to work with. They accommodate the customer with great curtesy and professional manners. Their style of business is what other vendors should copy from.

Advantages: This rifle stock is extremely accurate when finished properly. I also did a minimum of glass bedding to mate up to the action. If you're looking for ultimate accuracy this stock is the best.

Disadvantages: Heavy stock
