The MDT Lock Plate has been designed to provide a superior interface for a standard AR-15 collapsible style buttstock. Slide the MDT Fixed to Carbine Lock Plate over your favorite buffer tube, hand tighten the buffer tube to your MDT Chassis and secure everything with a castle nut. Similar to an AR Receiver End Plate, the MDT Lock Plate allows the shooter the added modularity to choose different buttstock products for their bolt action rifle.
