MambaMag Magazines by MDT

MambaMag Magazines by MDT were designed to fit into factory stocks, allowing users to increase their magazine capacity from the typical 3 round factory mag to 10 rounds without modifying your stock.

For the Howa 1500 short action and Remington 700 short action variants, you will need the MambaMag replacement bottom metal that is needed to convert your factory stock from hinged floorplate (BDL) model to a detachable magazine design.

MambaMags utilize a machined 6061-T6 aluminum upper section to offer the most reliable latching and feeding. They also utilize a polymer lower section to give a warmer feel for magazine removal and handling. The magazine has a removable bottom cover plate that allows the user to remove the internals for magazine cleaning and maintenance. The Howa 1500 and Remington 700 bottom metals use a front catch and a rear latch to provide the most stability for the magazines, while still allowing the mags to drop free.
