The Choate "Custom" Tactical Stock for the Savage Short Action Center Feed Left Hand Drop Box Mag (DBM) features:

CNC Aluminum Bedding Block
Vertical Pistol Grip
Sling Studs on both sides
10-1/2 inch long Anschutz rail under forend for bipod adapter
Bipod Adapter included
Adjustable Cheek Piece offers elevation adjustment up to 3/4 inch
Adjustable Butt Assembly adjusts LOP (Length of Pull) by 1-1/4 inches. Also adjusts height or drops down 1-1/8 inches
Fits Savage Short Action with action screw spacing of 4.41" and factory detachable magazine system
Works with rifles that have the bolt release in the trigger guard
Will NOT work with rifles that have the magazine release button as part of the magazine
Will NOT work with rifles that have the Accurate-Mag bottom metal that uses AI type magazines

There will be an 3/16 gap under the safety on all the Choate Savage Varmint, Tactical and Sniper stocks. The action should only touch on the V of the bedding block and back of the recoil lug. The gap at the back is normal for Savage actions when installed in Choate stocks.
