A super-strong and ultra-light bolt handle and tactical knob combo for your Tikka T3.
Oversized bolt knob made from genuine carbon fiber, with the bolt handle CNC machined from Grade 5 Titanium Alloy. This handle and knob combined weigh just under 1 oz (28.2 gm) - less than the original factory steel handle. The dovetail is designed for a tight, zero-tolerance fit into the mating slot of the Tikka T3 bolt body to ensure a secure and positive lock. The carbon fiber knob is a suitable non-glare matte finish for all the hunters out there, however, the basket weave pattern is prominent. During the course of its lifetime, any cosmetic scratches to the knob can be polished out and the knob will look like new again, unlike anodized aluminum which scratches and stays scratched.

Installation/Fitting Guide - The Tikka T3 bolt handle is dovetailed and slots into a mating slot in the bolt body. The shroud needs to be removed first followed by adjusting the firing pin assembly.
**Notes on Tikka factory tolerances ** This part may not be a 'drop-in' fit for your individual rifle. Some minor fitting may be required (NO welding or brazing etc is required). There is a wide variation between rifles with the dimensions of the slot in the bolt body that the bolt handle slides into. The angles of this 'dovetail' are rarely symmetrical which is what causes the fitment issues with some rifles. This is the case with aftermarket handles machined to tighter specifications than the sloppy factory original. Variations like this are common with mass-produced factory rifles and are due to tool wear and/or cutter misalignment. In the majority of cases this bolt handle will slot firmly into the bolt body, however in some instances minor filing or stoning of one or both angles of the handle will be required to see it fit snugly. The best results are achieved when removing only a minimum amount of material and testing the fit regularly. In most cases, a stubborn handle will slot into the slot with a firm tap from a nylon or soft-tipped hammer.
