Love it or hate it. This stock has many mixed reviews. The Ultimate Sniper is a little on the heavy side (6 lbs.) making it better suited for bench shooting or any shooting where weight is not an issue.

Very stable shooting stock. Just what I wanted for shooting from the bench. Zero recoil from the .223 Rem! Not a stock for hunting but ideal for prone or bench work. You can't find a better precision stock for the money. Would buy again for my next range rifle build.

Advantages: Solid platform for an economical build. Great overall quality. Easy to adjust the fit to individual needs. Heavy

Disadvantages: Heavy..But in a good way. Checking is a little sharp but can be lightly sanded.

Advantages: Increased accuracy,better handling

Savage SA "Center Feed" Tactical Stock by Choate

Nice quality - feel sturdy - heavy weight but barrel lined up a little off center - more space on right side than left - minimal but noticeable - should not affect accuracy as scope is aligned on receiver - will see after it goees to range
