I found out after receiving it, it was for ar15... buffer to long for ar10.. maybe I didnt see where it said specifically for ar15. Once I replaced buffer and spring it worked great in creedmore build

Works as advertised. I changed just the extractor by itself and no real change. The real difference seems to be the ejector. It's squared off on the top, longer, and protrudes much higher than OEM. The replacement spring is longer and provides more oomph. Brass easly slings out where before it kinda just fell out.

Advantages: Works like the factory should have done in the first place.

Disadvantages: Easy to have parts spring out across the room...be careful!

The Tac21 5" Mounting Rail fits my rifle chassis forearm perfectly!
NOTE: Only the shorter provided screws were required to mount this rail onto the forearm's threaded screw holes.

I found the Carbon Fiber 1" Bolt Knob to be smaller than expected and a bit undersized for my Remington 700 Tactical AAC-SD rifle. Additionally, it did not really speed up bolt cycling times or provide overall better grip.

After installing and cycling the bolt several times, I removed it and reinstalled my after-market oversized bolt knob. A 1-1/2" or 2" round bolt knob would be preferable.

Advantages: The lightness and overall quality of this item is good.

Disadvantages: Bolt Knob is a bit undersized for my Remington 700 Tactical AAC-SD rifle. Additionally, it did not really speed up bolt cycling times or provide overall better grip, probably as a result of the smaller than expected size.

Wanted a good bench/target style stock for my Savage 10-FCP SR. Finally took the plunge on this Choate and was very pleased! It works just fine with the factory Savage bottom metal and detachable magazine. Hard to beat any of the other options for this price! Added a Triad Tactical Stock pack to give proper comb height. Very Happy with the setup!

Advantages: Good price, good fit, quite comfortable.

I bought this stock to replace a Blackhawk stock that came with the 223 caliper howa.The original stock was a bit to flexible shooting in the prone position. The new choate stock did the trick. My group was reduced to about 2 inches at 350 yards with a 55 grain pointed soft point and 24.5 grains of 2015 accurate.

Advantages: added accuracy and a stable shooting position. I also replaced the trigger, I now have a relatively cheap rifle that shoots a cheap reload well at 350 yards.

Disadvantages: none its all good.

Cool little item. Keeps two rounds at the ready for whenever you might need them. I'm going to be honest though; it's the "Looks Cool" factor that brought me to the purchase of the Hoptic 2-Round Quiver!

Excellent upgrade to my .308 Rifle from the factory bolt handle. The bolt handle was easy to swap out and made for ease of use at the range.

Nice but.upon installing out on my rifle the mount split in half. Right at the Vee for the rail. Three to the bolt counterbore.

This bolt solved 2 problems for me on my Model 116. The added length of the bolt over the one that came on my 116 makes what was a heavy bolt lift smooth and easy now. The The large smooth knob also helps with the lift. As does the extra weight of the bolt handle. This handle will also clear my scope without any problems which was not the case before. This bolt handle is the perfect handle for the hunting rifle as it is long enough to do the job but not sol long that it will catch on brush.

Love it. Beefy, nice clean finish. Running it on my Steath 6.5 trying out PRS.

Advantages: Easy to find and grip in all conditions. Easy install. I would recommend to anyone looking.

I am very pleased with the Magpul Bolt Action Magazine Well which I installed on a Choate Rem 700 LA BDL Tactical Stock with some light modification. I prefere the magpul mags verses the metal.

I have several Choate Rem 700 long and short action BDL Tactical Stocks and one for a Howa action. They are all target rifles and enjoy the wide and stable forearm on shooting rests and the V block and heavy barrel relief is great. I have one chassis rifle that usually stays in the safe

Good, quality product.

Installed this kit when I had the extractor and ejector out of the bolt. This is a no brainer. Better made than the original parts and the result is improved extraction and ejection. Installs in just a couple of minutes after you figure out how to do it. Installed this with the bolt in a box because I did launch the spring and ball a couple of times till I got it in. A really nice upgrade.

Advantages: Improved extraction and ejection. Better quality than originals.

Awesome upgrade to the factory bolt. Well built and was shipped fast to boot.

I have put a Choate stock on every rifle I own. Quality product that just simply works great at an even better cost!

Advantages: Full aluminum bedding block locks the action in tight without having to mess with any epoxy. Features found on big money stocks.

Disadvantages: The sling studs rattle and the front one needs to be removed if you shoot from a bench with a bag.

Not a bad upgrade to an already good stock.

Advantages: Not a bad range of adjustability, sturdy, locks down tight

Disadvantages: could use a little more adjustability. Doesn't perfectly match the outline of the stock.. just a little off.. but not TW's fault.. Not tooless adjustments.

I read the above comments and it was an easy buy. I like the larger knobs and this one is just the same. It has a very nice finish although mine did not close all of the way. I still had a gap on both sides when it was fully tightened. I tried several different ways to get it to close but never did succeed.

It's awesome!! It does exactly what it supposed to.

Advantages: No more dealing with Allen wrenches!
