Disadvantages: Sling studs rattle but are useful
Don’t care for the standard 1/8” gap under the safety but it doesn’t affect function

Advantages: Solid, and heavy will be perfect for bench shooting. I got the standard cheek riser, looks like sight alignment will be just right.

Disadvantages: Replacing a stock you expect some trimming for fit, and the Choate was no exception. I had to Dremel for the trigger guard and the bolt release lever. I was disappointed with the fit of the blind mag, very loose. I folder up some cardboard to move the mag rearward so it and the L bracket would stay in place for assembly. This shouldn't be an issue, I single load and only use the mag as a sled.

Great stock. Took a bit of maneuvering to get the magazine well to seat all the way down, but once done, fit perfectly. Very stable and heavy stock, perfect for shooting off of a bench. Highly recommended.

Nice quality - feel sturdy - heavy weight but barrel lined up a little off center - more space on right side than left - minimal but noticeable - should not affect accuracy as scope is aligned on receiver - will see after it goees to range

Advantages: Durable and quite strong platform - very capable of hard use and not bad looking

Disadvantages: Non if accuracy not impacted by misalignment
