If you're a fan of the original plastic MFT minimalist stock, you'll love this Aluminum one! It has superb machining— an extreme attention to detail. It has that real premium feel when you hold it. The photos barely do it justice. You have to see it in person to appreciate it. It's got a hefty price tag, but once you hold one in your hands— you'll understand why. Fits perfect on my milspec tube by Aero precision, has virtually "no-play", but very smooth telescoping adjustability. Also, Tactical Works ships fast, and the price is a little better than most other vendors online. Can't go wrong shopping here.

Advantages: Light weight, sleek clean look. Premium feel. Perfect machined tolerances makes for a perfect fit.

Disadvantages: Only disadvantage— is if you're going to be in the hot sun for any length of time, the cheek weld may get too hot to place you face on it. But nothing some neoprene pad, or similar can't fix.

This bolt handle combined with a Desh Ind. bolt lift kit requires much less effort to lift the bolt.

Advantages: Inexpensive and perfect size.

Disadvantages: Being that it's all steel it's a little heavy, but it's also very rugged.

I purchased the TR-2 buttstock to replace a Magpul PRS GEN3 stock that I installed on my Ruger Precision Rifle (6.5 Creedmoor). The LOP was over an inch too long with the Magpul stock and I did not want to do a youtube video fix (cutting the buffer tube adapter). This TR-2 Buttstock was the fix!
It's well made, sturdy and comfortable!

Advantages: Fully adjustable to any LOP.

Ordered on the 15th. In my hands the 18th! Measured the bolt lift with original parts, 5 lbs average. Installed the Bolt Lift and lift was reduced to 4 lbs. Wished I'd done this long before now.

Advantages: Smoother than original. Big improvement to bolt lift.

Due to the fact I have not received shipment of ammunition ordered over a year ago the magazines have been idle. Otherwise they appear to be in fine order and I’m confident they will work without problem.

Nice quality - feel sturdy - heavy weight but barrel lined up a little off center - more space on right side than left - minimal but noticeable - should not affect accuracy as scope is aligned on receiver - will see after it goees to range

Advantages: Durable and quite strong platform - very capable of hard use and not bad looking

Disadvantages: Non if accuracy not impacted by misalignment

Nice but heavy - should not be affected by hard use - better alignment in bedding block than Tactical stock I bought a same time -

Previously I bought the Savage Tactical Bolt Handle BT-Style which is awesome, but this Ti handle is "awesomer". At 4.5 oz. the Savage Tactical Bolt Handle BT-Style is a brick compared to the Ti handle. LOL Combined with the carbon fiber handle it weighs a total of 1.5 oz. Adding it to my Savage Ultralite keeps the "lite" in the name.

Advantages: Light weight.
Strong.
Non-corrosive.

Disadvantages: None.

Installed on a 22_250 savage 12fv. The factory handle was small and smooth and hard to grab with gloves. This is perfect. Large nicley knurled and solid. Makes racking that follow up shot much nicer.

Advantages: Solid. Very grippy. Makes it easier to use for sure

Most ergonomic stock I've ever had. Excellent for bi-pod or shooting off a rest. Great tactile rubber.

Third Choate Stock I have purchased.

Advantages: I like the free-floating barrel because I use this stock on rifles with heavy varmint barrels. The underside sliding swivel mount allows me to quickly share my Harris Bi-Pod on all three stocks with little effort. The stock has improved accuracy on every rifle I have used it on.

Disadvantages: Not always available.

A must have and a beautiful addition to your rifle. Great fit and finish and easy to install. Arrived in good time after ordering, good people to do business with.

Advantages: The ease and speed of manipulating the bolt is now a big advantage over the standard bolt knob.

Disadvantages: None in my view.

Tactical Works has the best price, period!
The fit of the bolt on bolt knob is very good. It’s smooth and the gap lines up perfectly. I didn’t use the rubber o-ring and the gap is nearly invisible. Once tightened, it’s solid and it looks like it’s a machined knob. It doesn’t turn or slip. Although even if it turns, it will function just as well. Besides adding bulk to the knob, it lengthens the bolt knob about 5/8 to 3/4 inch.

The bolt handle is phenomenal. It was the first item I replaced as I upgraded a few items on a savage model 11 .223. As many have said the hardest part of the replacement process is breaking loose the factory tight screw.

Advantages: I’m a lefty and it makes operating the bolt a lot easier with my right hand. It’s well constructed. Though I bought it for pure functionality, gives the rifle a bit of panache over the factory bolt handle.

Disadvantages: To me, none!
