This is a high-quality ejector and extractor kit for all Savage centerfire models based on the 10/110 action (does not work with Savage Axis). Made from the best materials with the best finishes applied, this kit may resolve extraction and/or ejection issues that can occur with the OEM setup. There are nine separate components in this kit that incorporate all the parts contained within the Savage bolt head. Included are two ejectors which have slightly different diameters to account for dimensional variations between the factory and aftermarket bolt heads. Also included are two different weight springs for both the extractor and ejector. These extra inclusions maximize the likelihood of the assembled bolt head functioning for all vintages and calibers of Savage rifles. The extractor design is compatible with all factory chamberings, including cartridges with 0.390" rim diameters (204 Ruger, .222 Rem, .223 Rem, etc).
Features:
- Extractor machined from 17-4 stainless steel and to tighter tolerances than the OEM version
- Extractor Detent Ball made from 304 stainless steel and oversized
- Extractor Spring (x2) made from zinc-plated piano wire, one standard strength and one extra strength
- Ejector (0.0988" diameter) machined from 17-4 stainless steel with a TiN (PVD) coating

Installation:
Lumley manufactures this kit as a wholesale product for gunsmiths and rifle builders. It is not designed as a 'drop-in' fit and modification to various components may be necessary for your particular rifle/ chambering/ brass/ bolt head. This kit might not fix ejection or extraction issues and it may not function in your particular rifle due to one or more of these variables. We can provide general advice over email if provided with descriptions and photos but a gunsmith may be required for a successful installation. If you have installed this kit correctly and are still having difficulty ejecting and/or extracting cartridge cases, we recommend trying different brands of brass. If reloading ammunition, please examine your brass cartridges including the rim diameter and rim thickness to ensure they remain within SAAMI print specification. Inspection of the bolt face is necessary prior to installation for any visual signs of damage. If using an aftermarket bolt head, please measure the ID of the ejector hole and extractor detent ball hole to rule out any excessive lateral play from these components being the cause of any issues.
