iI purchased a Remington 700 rifle that came with a trigger kit to convert my bolt action five round, to a 10 round box magazine. Works great and I plan to order again in the future.

Advantages: I think this help make my Remington 700 even better going from five rounds to ten rounds, and the advantage of quick reloads.
I like the accuracy of a bolt action Remington 700, with the improved capacity and quicker reloading with a box magazine.

Disadvantages: Cost is higher than other magazines to compare with. Only trigger that would fit my custom stock.

Love the stronger ejector spring and it now throws the casings reliably. But I took the extractor back out because it was so stiff that I couldn't get the bolt to close. I even tried hitting it with a mallet to close. I gave up after fighting it for half an hour and put the stock extractor back in. The bolt closes fine and it now throws the casing better so I call it good enough for govt work.

Advantages: Ejects casings noticeably better.

Disadvantages: Extractor may be extremely tight and it could range from bolt being difficult to close, all the way to won't close even after hitting it with a mallet. I'd skip the extractor upgrade and just do the ejector.

This product is great! I installed it in under 10 minutes and it fit perfect for the Howa 1500 Mini. I have read several reviews where people didn't use the supplied o-rings, but for me I used one and it tightened down without a gap.

Advantages: Great Price for quality product, looks good, and easy to install.

Love the Bravo for my CZ 455 & Tikka T1x but for the 10/22 Bravo you will need to buy additional LOP Spacers which is pretty crappy for a $250 stock.

I just received this rear rest today and felt like I had to leave a review. Without a doubt, this is the best rest, front or rear, that I have owned in over 50 years of shooting. I have lived in the times when quality and customer service were a company's top priorities. I have also lived through times when CS and quality made products were an after-thought. This product is that good and I love that this bag has straps two ways as I like to control my rest with my hand inside a strap.

Advantages: Made in the USA of course ... quality stitching and material ... just the right size for my .308 Savage 10 in a Bell and Carlson Varmint/Tactical vertical grip stock with Harris bipod. Great customer service from TW with quick shipping.

Disadvantages: The only thing I can think of being close to a negative is if it were a little bit lower in price. It took me a couple of looks on TW to make the jump ... but it is worth it. You want the best ... you pay for it.

The Badger DBM5 is the gold standard. It's built like a tank and upon inspection, it is clearly worth the money. If you are lucky to find one, I suggest you purchase it.

Advantages: This dropped right into my mcmillan a5 with sendero barrel and action. Pillers included which saved me some work. Finish is anodized and the magazine release has a strong spring.

Disadvantages: Slight mag wobble, but its tolerable. The 5 round mag does stick out a good amount and catches on clothes, gear, and brush. User error could be blamed though.

Fast processing and shipping. Easy 5 minute installation. Fit and finish is excellent. Very happy with the product. Which is why I have now purchased 3 all together. 2 for me and another for a friend that admired mine. It does stick out a bit when in a gun case but I just remove the bolt and lay it flat in the case.

The extractor is great, 10/10 would recommend to a friend, 100% necessary upgrade, I have had 0 cases failing to extract.

The ejector is hit or semi-miss because if you go slooooow the case the will fall off the extractor in the action and you have to dig them out, which was actually the case with the stock ejector all the time... so not really a bad thing. Now, if you pull the bolt back like you’re Ryan Cleckner showing off for a video for NSSF, it flings brass kinda like your favorite scary black assault weapon would.

Going at normal speed seems to be the sweet spot for saving brass and it reliably ejects every time landing within arms reach. It really tosses ‘em.

Advantages: Reliable ejection with normal and fast cycling

Disadvantages: Really slow cycling drops the brass because the ejector is TOO efficient, so your booger hook will be wrestling cases if you’re light-handed with the bolt.

Solid as a rock!! Well made, perfect fit!! Love it

This is third Choate Ultimate Varmint rifle stock I purchased. It is the only standard commercially produced aftermarket stock I'm aware of with a profile similar to the SVD-63 Dragunov sniper rifle. Most people who have handled a Draguov rifle can understand and appreciate how ergonomic and "correct" the stock feels especially when the rifle is being shot from a prone or sitting position. The feel characteristic of the Dragunov's stock is well duplicated by the Ultimate Varmint stock when attached to a bolt-action rifle. Also, I believe the recoil characteristics of the rifle is also changed a bit. When shooting heavy bullets from a large caliber round (a 220 gain HPBT from a 300 Win Mag) from a Remington 700 Long Range fitted with this stock, the recoil feels more like an abrupt and heavy but controllable push. When the same bullet is shot from the rifle with the Bell & Carson Varmint/Tactical stock the rifle originally came in, the recoil felt more like a combination of a sharp upward snap and violent push.

The stock is a very heavy with features that lends itself to a very comfortable and stable hold especially for target shooting. However, if you are planning to go hunting, the weight added by the stock and its overall size will make the rifle too heavy and cumbersome to carry for a long period or for making an accurate shot from an off hand position.

There are a few other items that a buyer needs to be aware off.
1) The stock comes with a high and a low cheek riser that can be attached in three (forward, middle, rear) positions on the top of the stock. When the riser is attached to the forward position, there will only be enough distance for the bolt to be cycled and pulled for extracting and injecting the cartridge in the action. There is not enough room for the bolt to be removed from the action without first removing the entire riser.
2) When the high cheek riser is attached, the rear of the riser will usually block the front of a cleaning rod's handle and prevent the entire length of the rod from being inserted into the barrel for cleaning. This can be remedied by removing the riser, using an extra-long rod or attaching an additional segment to rod to make it longer.
3) The Ultimate Varmint Stock (for both the Remington 700 Short Action and Long Action) has a blind magazine well. There is no opening on the bottom of the mag well to accommodate a floor plate or detachable magazine. Ammunition in the magazine can be loaded or unloaded only from the top.

A similar stock from H&C, McMillian and most other aftermarket stock manufactures will usually cost about twice or three times as much. Overall, this is a great stock that I will recommend for someone who wants a sturdy, heavy and ergonomically well-designed stock on a rifle to be used in long range target shooting.

Bought these 223 holders for a 300BO bolt gun and a 6.5Grendel bolt gun. I knew the BO would work and presently found it a good size for the Grendel as well.
