Advantages: Improved ergonomics over the factory stock. Aluminum bedding block and steel recoil lug.

Disadvantages: I wish MDT would let you order any color panels they have instead of only offering the green. It's a bummer to have to buy panels if you want a different color.

Bought this to use with my Oryx chassis. Its an okay mag, but it is a little stiff to insert into the chassis. I figure it will wear in and this will become less of an issue. The main drawback i noticed is that when loaded to full capacity (10 rounds), the walls swell out just enough to cause the mag to fit very tight in the magwell. this also caused some feeding issues. when loaded with 9 rounds everything worked good though.

Advantages: Cheap and lightweight.

Disadvantages: Not as smooth as a steel mag when inserting into the magwell.
Can swell when loaded to capacity.

Disadvantages: If you are using with Aluminum Snap Caps, the extractor will cut through the aluminum.

I purchased this replacement trigger guard for a Remington 700 SPS Varmint chambered in .308 Win. It was a true drop-in installation with no modifications required. It was super easy to install and I couldn’t be happier with the fit and function.

Advantages: Adds 5 or 10 round detachable magazine capability to a rifle that originally came as a 4 round internal box magazine.

Super easy installation.

Disadvantages: It’s polymer, not metal, so you have to be careful about over tightening the stock screws.

Magazines are proprietary, so it’s only compatible with the mags that the manufacturer makes.

Completely fixed the problem of spent shells not being fully ejected. I’m very pleased with the results.

I live in northern Wisconsin and shoot year round carbon fiber bolt knobs do not transmit cold.Huge advantage to keep your trigger finger warm and as a side note the extra bolt knob length is equivalent to a lift kit.

I installed this in a Savage I've been shooting for over 20 years. I had the factory extractor parts replaced under warranty, and have replaced them a couple of times since, but it never really helped. The weak extraction has been my only complaint with this rifle. I took it out for the first time after installing this yesterday, and was amazed. I actually like my Savage again! Thanks!

I applied these Ruger RPR Saddle Blankets on two Ruger Precision Rimfires I have. They fit really nice on the rest and are easy to apply with the two alignment marks on either side of the blanket. This helps to line up the blanket to the rest during application. The texture of these blankets is somewhat like a suede leather feel, not slick like some others. This is the fourth set of these blankets I have purchased for various stocks. I highly recommend these blankets.

I’m sure anyone reading this experienced some version of: pulling your bolt back for the first time on your brand new savage 110 only to hear the brass drop off the bolt face and rattle around on top of the magazine. Take heart, this product will fix it. Right out of the box, my savage 110 tactical would only eject about 1/3 of the time. My suspicions as to why were confirmed by my local gunsmith, who thought the extractor didn’t to a good enough job holding onto the brass. I had him install this kit, and range time today was no longer an embarrassment.

Advantages: My rifle now has flawless extraction and ejection of spent brass.

Disadvantages: You do need to break these parts in. I did it by pushing an empty case into the bolt face by hand until the extractor engaged around 200 times. If you don’t do that, you will get some failure to extract faults, as the extractor will bind a bit until it’s broken in to the bolt properly.
