Winchester 70 Choate Ultimate Varmint

After receiving frequent calls and email requests  for Winchester Model 70 stocks and accessories we’ve decided to build an offering for owners of “The Rifleman’s Rifle”.

The history of the Winchester 70 is quite extensive and dates back to 1936. Over the years the Winchester Model 70 has seen use by Military and Law Enforcement as well as tens of thousands of hunters and shooting enthusiasts. The Winchester Model 70 is also the center of many “campfire” stories of family and hunting adventures.

Our hope is to add to our offering over time as we find products made by solid manufactures that offer great products that enhance the shooter’s experience.  Many of the manufactures that Tactical Works, Inc. represents today already have accessories for the Winchester Model 70 including Choate, CDI, and EWG. We hope our commitment to inventory Winchester Model 70 products will help us better serve our customers by  changing our Winchester sales from “special order” items to “normally stocked”  items. This will allow us to provide the same level of service that our Savage and Remington owners have come to enjoy.

We have added the Choate Ultimate Varmint stocks for Winchester Model 70 short and long actions as well as EGW optic rails.  CDI Precision Gunworks bottom metal drop box mags will soon follow. “Word on the Street” is that Choate is tooling up to start a run of their popular  Tactical Stock for the Winchester Model 70 in the coming months.

Thank you for your support.

Team Tactical Works.

Ace's Sniper Challenge Savage

Ace's Sniper Challenge Savage

Ace recently competed in the 2010 Sniper Challenge against some of the countries best LEO, Military, and civilian shooters. Ace went toe to toe with his Savage .308 Center Feed Short Action against shooters with thousands more invested in their kit. Ace had a good day and lead the shoot at one time. He finished 12th over all with a big grin on his face. “At the end of the second stage I was in the lead. We still finished above current Mil and LEO Snipers. All in all we had a great time, met some great folks, learned a ton. The experience was invaluable and we now have the intel needed to be better prepared next time.”

Congratulations Ace! Thanks for supporting Tactical Works, Inc.
