Free Colorado Magazine Promotions

As many of you know, the State of Colorado passed unconstitutional laws that directly impact law-abiding firearm owners here in our great state.  We Coloradans, have until Sunday June 30th, 2013 at 11:59 to acquire “high-capacity” or what most know as “standard capacity” magazines or be without.

Unfortunately, these new laws were “voted in” said very lightly,  at a time when the 2nd Amendment was under fire at not only a national level but an international level.  This assault sent law-abiding firearm owners scrambling to buy anything they may possibly want/need “til death due us part”.  It’s a very difficult situation to be in.

Imagine if your dream is owning a vintage Ford Mustang someday in the future.   All of a sudden you are told that within months it will be a criminal act to purchase wheels for said dream car.  It doesn’t seem right, does it.  If your dream was ever come true you’d better insure that you have wheels for that car before the law passes.  Naturally, you decide to purchase some wheels now, guess what, ends up millions of folks have a similar dream and they’ve been shopping, you’re out of luck.

Enter the law of supply and demand.  The wheels that where once readily available are now four times as expensive if you can find them.  Again, it doesn’t seem right.

In an effort to help everyone purchase magazines without getting gouged, Tactical Works, Inc. decided to run some last-minute promotions however, there’s a hitch, we’ve asked for you to “like” our Facebook page for extraordinary discounts.  The offers are still at or below retail if you really don’t “like” us but there is a little extra incentive if you do.   Yea, we know it’s tough.  If you already “like” us then you already have access to the promo codes. Don’t have a Facebook account?  Give us a call, we’ll give you the promo codes for the extraordinary discount.

Tactical Works, Inc. announces new dealer relationship with Mission First Tactical, MFT of Bensalem, PA.

June, 19th, 2013

DENVER, CO – Tactical Works, Inc. announced that they are now a stocking dealer for Mission First Tactical  or MFT.   A representative of  Team Tactical Works stated that they decided to offer MFT products primarily to complement the Tac21 Chassis System.  “Many operators want a folding or collapsible stock for their long range weapons platform to help with concealbility and maneuverability. MFT’s BATTLELINK Utility Stock or BUS, is a solid stock and one of the few adjustable AR15 stocks that has an adjustable cheek piece. After visiting with MFT at ShotShow 2013, we decided that we would offer most of their products to our AR15 community and as an option for the chassis systems that we offer.  The decision made sense because MFT offers a “bulletproof” solution and they are made in the USA.”

About MFT’s BATTLELINK

As their mission states, Mission First Tactical develops select rifle/carbine accessories specifically for the Military and Law Enforcement markets.  Civilian shooters too benefit from receiving leading edge/affordable products.  The design of MFT’s accessories centers on the need for enhanced accuracy and functionality of the weapons systems improving Operator effectiveness.  MFT accessories aid in rapid target acquisition and rapid, repeatable, accurate shot sequences.  Developed and manufactured entirely in the USA.

Bi-pod Lock Lever Installation

Posted in DIY, Tactical Works Home, Uncategorized on June 3rd, 2013 by Team TW

Swivel Bipods are almost necessary for accurate repeatable long-range precision shots.  Depending on theory, many suggest that the weapon should be able to swivel with a little force however should “stick” in the desired position requiring zero muscle or effort to hold the weapon in place.  The OEM Harris Swivel bipod does allow for tightening the tension on the swivel mechanism however it is a small wheel nut and it’s difficult to get the proper adjustment.  With a Bipod Lever Lock the operator can quickly and easily adjust the tension on the bipod without coming off the weapon system. The Bipod Lever Lock also allows for a more precise adjustment than does the OEM wheel nut.
